WorldANGLING's roots began deep in South Florida. Born and raised in the Florida Keys, Will Benson first began filming clients to help them with their cast. The inevitable result was more fish being caught. So, will turned his focus on the action and drama that unfolded. In 2006 Will decided to take his footage and make a holiday gift for his loyal clients. That film, Tarpon Season, later went on to win the "Best Fishing" Category at the 2007 Drake Fly Fishing Video Awards. Before Will even knew he had won an award, he met Dave Teper. With a professional background in skateboarding and design, and an insatiable addiction for saltwater fly fishing, Dave was looking for a creative outlet for his passions. Their shared interest in saltwater fly fishing and video making, led them to create WorldANGLING; a company dedicated to showcasing the next generation of saltwater fly fishing and organic outdoor media. In 2008, the partnership proved successful as Will and Dave repeated their win of the “Best Fishing” award with their video Connected. Since WorldANGLING's inception, the creative talents of Will and Dave have found their way on to the silver screen first with the premier of their underground cult film Permit, and later as part of the Fly Fishing Film Tour. Always a crowd favorite, WorldANGLING is quickly becoming known for it's raw, humorous, and distinctive take on the sport of fly fishing.
