guidesGuide Services World Angling is committed to providing the finest fly fishing and light tackle spin fishing experience possible. We are all young enthusiastic guides who live for saltwater fishing. We welcome both veteran and novice anglers alike. Operating out of Key West and a number of small marinas north along US1, we are able to capitalize on ever changing conditions and fish movements. We will pick you up and drop you off at your hotel. All tackle and flies are provided unless you prefer to use your own gear. During the height of season from March 1 to August 1 we encourage all clients to book a full day so we can take advantage of tides and opportunities. We require a $100 per day deposit to secure any dates. Refunds are given if a trip is cancelled due to weather or if we are able to rebook. Daily rates are $525. We cannot accept credit cards at this time so please use cash or check. Book a Guide Online

Multimedia productions
World Angling is a grassroots film production company.  Spurred on by the emerging trend in documentary style fly fishing films, Will Benson began filming with friends and clients three years ago. The culmination of his effort came last September when Will won best fishing video in the Drake Magazine film contest at the 2007 fly fishing retailer's convention in Denver with his film Tarpon Season II.   The film itself is only a small part of a larger work that Will plans on releasing later this year, including the first ever Permit on Fly documentary.  World Angling Media Group is part of a new wave of highly skilled young film artists and fly fisherman who are passionate about capturing the best footage imaginable.   World Angling sells stock video, pictures, and multimedia content for web/print/broadcast.  For more information check out the Multimedia Productions page.

innovationInnovationThe technical nature of saltwater fly fishing demands attention to detail and precision equipment.  That is why the Crew at World Angling has partnered with leaders in the industry to develop some of the most cutting edge advances in a variety of products.  Long time friend and professional fly tier Peter Smith has worked for years with Will  Benson to design the ultimate Permit Fly and a new line of Tarpon Flies.  Capt. Bill Houze has created his own line of flies that are designed to fool fish in "hatch" type situations.  Will Benson has developed new techniques in cinematography specific to saltwater fly fishing, and is currently helping design a revolutionary flats skiff that will lead the industry for years.  "Nothing like this has ever been attempted in flats fishing, it's time to rethink everything you knew about boats.  Imagine America's Cup meets the Del Brown Permit tournament." Travis Holeman.  For More information or sponsored partnership in development check out the Innovation section.
